Using REST Web Services

REST Web Services allow you to manage the 3D Secure preference:
  • In the payment order creation requests (see: Order payment Web Services)
  • In the payment creation requests for PCI-DSS certified merchants (see: Authentication integrated into the payment).

The 3D Secure preference is transmitted by the merchant via the fieldstrongAuthentication.

Under PSD2, strong authentication is required when registering a card, regardless of the merchant preference.

The fieldstrongAuthenticationis thus ignored in the creation requests (Charge/CreateTokenandPCI/Charge/CreateToken).
