Integrating payment in installments
WARNING: The activation of the payment in installments feature is subject to the prior agreement of Société Générale.
If you enable this feature while you do not have the option, the error 10000 – INSTALLMENTS_NOT_ALLOWED will be generated and the buyer will be unable to pay.
When a payment is made in installments, an authorization request is made only for the first installment. As a result, you will need to verify that the following deadlines were not denied at the time of application. The authorization will be automatically carried out one day before the capture date.
It is possible to be notified by e-mail in case one of the following installment payments is refused. All you need to do is enable and configure the Installment payment rejection e-mail rule. This rule can be found in the Settings > Notification rules menu > E-mail sent to the merchant tab of the Merchant Back Office.
To set up payment in installments:
- Sign in to the Wordpress Back Office.
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings.
- Click the Payments tab.
- Click Sogecommerce - Payment in installments.
- Enable the module via the Activation parameter.
- In the Payment options section, click Add.
- Enter the title of the payment option.Example: Pay in 3 installments with no fees
- Enter the mini/maxi amount for offering payment in installments within this range.
- Enter the total number of installments in Number.Example: 3
- Enter the delay in days between two installments via the Number parameter.Example: 30
- Save your changes.
