Installment payment
Strong authentication will always be requested upon the first installment, regardless of the merchant preference.
This authentication will concern the global amount, i.e. the sum of all the payment installments.
The authentication request for a payment in installments is part of the PSD2 regulation. Make sure to warn your customers in advance before they make the payment.
